Saudi Arabia has allowed Umrah and pilgrimage since October 4.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, Saudi citizens and foreigners residing will be allowed to perform Umrah and pilgrimage, while Umrah will be restored in stages.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, in the first phase, 6,000 citizens and residents of the kingdom have been allowed to perform Umrah from October 4, while the second phase will start on October 18 and the third phase on November 1.
In the fourth phase, 100 percent permission will be given for Umrah, Ziarat, and prayers and this permission will be given only after the concerned authorities decide to end the threat of the epidemic.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, the number of worshipers will be increased to 20,000 on a daily basis, while 60,000 people will be allowed to pray in the Grand Mosque.

It may be recalled that Umrah was banned in March due to the global epidemic Coronavirus.
