RAWALPINDI: The Indian Army once again targeted the population in open violation of international law on the Line of Control (LOC), killing three civilians and injuring three others, including a woman.
According to the Pak Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian army targeted the civilian population in the Bagsar sector of LOC.
Three people including a woman were injured in the firing.
It may be recalled that in the last days, the Indian Army opened fire on the Line of Control and killed 3 civilians. Pakistan had strongly protested against India on the martyrdom of innocent civilians. Pakistan took immediate notice of the incident and summoned the Deputy High Commissioner of India to the Foreign Office and post a protest. The protest said that the Indian Army was deliberately targeting the civilian population. Targeting the urban population is contrary to international law. India should make its army oblige to the ceasefire agreement, Indian steps are becoming a threat to the peace of the region.
It should be noted that India has violated the Seas Fire Agreement several times before. In a similar attempt in India a few days ago, 9 Indian soldiers were killed by the brave armed forces of Pakistan.
